REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BOGOR - Heavy rains, strong winds and lightning will continue to hit Bogor untill May. Head of Data and Information of Climatological Bogor Station, Hendri Antoro, warned people when doing outdoor activities especially in open space.

"Bogor is still in transition period and this weather condition will continue," Antoro said on Thursday.

Last week, lightning burned mosque's dome in Kayu Manis Village, Bogor. Heavy rain is feared to trigger landslides, especially in hilly areas.

Heavy rain with lightnings for four hours last week caused two trees and a tower fallen. Extreme rain in Bogor usually affect the water level in lower areas especially Jakarta, Bekasi, and Tangerang.
