VP leaves for central, East Java for working visits

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Vice President Boediono on Thursday started his four-day working visit to Central Java and East Java, from April 24 to 27, 2014, to inaugurate a number of development projects.

An official information from vice presidential office said Boediono and his entourage left Halim Perdanakusuma military airbase on Thursday morning by a special Air Force plane, Boeing 737-300 to Semarang, Central Java.

After arriving at Ahmad Yani airport in Semarang, the vice president will make his way to Tawang railway station to precede his journey by train to Bojonegoro, Surabaya, Blitar, Malang, and Kediri in East Java.

Traveling by train, Boediono will observe the construction of Semarang-to-Surabaya double track railway, and in Bojonegoro he will visit a regional hospital, some schools, and Cepu Oil Block.

The vice president will inspect Cepu Oil Bloc Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) at Ngasem sub-district in Bojonegoro, East Java.

While in Blitar, Kediri, and Malang, Boediono will inspect a number of buildings which were damaged by the eruption of Mount Kelud some time ago.

After a series of his working visit, the vice president and his entourage will return to Jakarta from Abdurahman Saleh airport in Malang on Sunday.
