REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Deputy Secretary General of the Democrats Party, Ramadhan Pohan expected the parliament members either of DPR, DPD and DPRD to willingly resign from their position if participate in the election of regional heads (Pilkada).

Not only to the parliament members, Ramadan said that the military and civil servants should do the same, namely to resign from their positions. "In order to be fair, they should resign first from their posts, either the parliament members, the military, or civil servants," said Ramadan, on Sunday, July 12.

Ramadan assessed when they retreated from their posts, the candidates of the region heads will be able to focus on preparing themselves as future leaders who will bring change for the regions to be led.
