REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SAMARINDA -- Some 226 hotspots were detected in East and North Kalimantan provinces on October 21, 2015.
Of the total hotspots, 81 were detected in Kutai Kartanegara District, head of the East Kalimantan disaster mitigation office Wahyu Widhi Heranata said here, Thursday.
East Kutai District has 45 hotspots, North Penajam Paser 40 and Paser District 36.
In West Kutai District, 12 hotspots were detected, Balikpapan seven, Samarinda and Berau two hotspots each, and Malinau District in North Kalimantan had one hotspot.
