REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Financial Services Authority (OJK) offered cooperation of people's business credit (KUR) as a capital loan for One District One Center of Enterpreneurship (OK OCE) program. The interest rate financing's rate is around seven percent.

"OJK offers KUR at seven percent and we welcome it," said Jakarta Deputy Governor Sandiaga Uno on Thursday (January 25).

Sandiaga agreed to start the process of KUR to entry in OK OCE program. He felt glad that the offers is in accordance with the target. However, it takes time to realize.

"This is a very tempting offer from OJK," Sandiaga added.

Previously, OK OCE program has been criticized because of the high interest rate offered. By partnering with Bank DKI as main partner, the interest rate offered to members still reach 13 percent. Sandiaga claimed there are several banking and financing institutions that able to provide interest rate lower than 13 percent.

OK OCE members is expected to see, which financial services are more competitive. He also encouraged banks to provide lower interest than that offered by Bank DKI.

Neverthless, Sandiaga admitted many traders don't have problem with the set of interest rates. "Even OK OCE friends say that they are okay if the interest rate is 24 percent," said Sandiaga.

The most important thing for traders is getting access easier to capital. They generally have a been accustomed to paying interest at bigger percentage.
