REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- National Film Day (HFN) series 2016 use ''Indonesia Film is us'' as a theme. HFN 2016 Committee Chairman Niniek L Kariem explained the philosophical meaning behind the theme.

"We want everyone feel film is belong to everyone, so that develop love and at the end they will do something to Indonesia film," Niniek said on Wednesday (30/3).

Furthermore, film director and every production film team would not exist without audiences.

Niniek said Indonesia film will not sounded without society. According to Niniek today films has been enough 'us' and populist.

To motivate all the director especially youth, HFN Committee 2016 initiated Youth Film Festival that in the implementation will collaborate with government.
