REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Former UFC fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov visited Indonesia to attend a number of events. He has arrived in Indonesia by attending the Kahforward event at Indonesia Arena, the main stadium complex Gelora Bung Karno (SUGBK), on Saturday (28/9/2024).

In addition, Khabib will also return to Indonesia for an event titled “Path of a Champion” that will take place on October 5, 2024 at Kota Kasablanka Hall. He also expressed his happiness to be able to come back to Indonesia and meet his fans in person. Moreover, he felt that he received a warm welcome from the Indonesian public.

“I am very happy to be in Indonesia for the first time. The warmth and friendliness of the people here is truly amazing,” Khabib said in a press release received by Republika.co.id on Monday (30/9/2024).

He also expressed his heartbreak with the support he received from UFC fans in Indonesia and felt privileged to be among Muslim brothers in the country.

Khabib stressed the “Path of a Champion” event is very close to his heart as it aims to inspire Indonesia's younger generation.

“To young Indonesians, I want to share my journey and show that with discipline, hard work and belief, anything is possible. You can achieve your dreams, both in sports and in life,” Khabib said.

The event was organized by Collaboration Mada Live and Moreno Soeprapto as promoter. Khabib expressed his gratitude to all parties who have contributed to making this event happen.

“Thank you and I'm so excited to come back and meet you all at the 'Path of a Champion' event. See you on October 5,” Khabib said.

The “Path of a Champion” event is expected to be an inspiring container for young Indonesians to pursue their dreams, not only in the world of sports, but also in everyday life.
