REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - General Election Commission (KPU) announced on Sunday night that 16 out of 34 political parties passed the administrative verification for 2014 election. Meanwhile, the remaining 16 parties failed the verification process, the Chairman of KPU, Husni Kamil Manik, said on Sunday.
The National Democrat Party (Nasdem), National Democratic Party for Struggle (PDI-P), the National Awakening Party (PKB), the People’s Conscience Party (Hanura), the National Mandate Party (PAN), The Crescent Star Party (PBB), the Golkar Party, the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), the Great Indonesia Movement Party (Gerindra), the Democratic Party, and the United Development Party (PPP) are among those that passed the administrative verification process.
While the parties that failed the verification, among others, are Nation Democratic Party (PDK), Congress Party, the Independent People's Union Party (SRI), Functional Republic Party (Pakar), National Republic Party (Nasrep), Prosperous Peace Party (PDS), Republican Party, National Ulama Awakening Party (PKNU), and Indonesian National Populist Fortress Party (PNBKI).
