House commission agrees to assumption on draft budget

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Financial Affairs Commission XI of the House of Representatives and the government have agreed on various assumptions of the Draft 2015 State Budget.

"Commission XI has agreed to the macro assumption of the state budget," Commission XI Chairman Olly Dondokambey reported when chairing a working meeting with the government on Wednesday.

The meeting was also attended by Finance Minister Chatib Basri, Head of the National Development Planning Armida Alisjahbana, Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia (the central bank) Perry Warjiyo, and Head of the Central Bureau of Statistics Suryamin.

The agreed macro assumptions included economic growth at 5.8 percent, inflation rate at 4.4 percent plus-minus one percent, three-month SPN state debenture interest rate at 6.0 percent, and rupiah exchange rate against the US dollar at 11,600-11,900 IDR (per US dollar).

He added that the other macro assumptions, including the Indonesian Crude Price and oil lifting, were still under deliberations at the House Commission XI.
