REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Sudirman Said felt annoyed if improvement measures taken by the government in the energy sector were seen as a temporary effort, by some activists.

He accused the activists were representative of people's voice, but represented the interests of who paid them.

"Equipped with the gadget, everyone suddenly turned into activists. On the past, activists marked with a headband, wearing banners, now activists likely paid [by others]," he said in a National Seminar on Institutional of Constitutional Oil and Gas, in GBHN Room, Gedung Nusantara V of Parliament, Jakarta, Thursday, June 11.

According to Sudirman, activists supposedly are people who are concerned with the changing times by conveying the people's conscience.

Related to the sectors he led, Sudirman confirmed that he will stand at the front to solve the problem of energy that wraps Indonesia today. Including the oil mafia matter, according to Sudirman, people who become oil mafia eventually will end.
