REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Interior Minister Tjahjo Kumolo said that Gerakan Fajar Nusantara (Gafatar) is an organization without any forms which was frequently changing identities as a social community organizations in local government.

"Organizations without form can change the name and identity. The camouflage is done as organization of social activities," said Tjahjo, Wednesday (13/1).

He explained, Gafatar emerged after having been in conflict with the organization of Rasa Sejatining Inti Kamanungsan (Rajatikam) in Yogyakarta in 2012.

"Gafatar allegedly headed by the son of the 65 activist who had been 'head to head' with the Rajatikam Yogyakarta, in social media. The clash was about ideology," Tjahjo added.

Tjahjo, who is an Advisory Board of Rajatikam, claimed to have warned the organizations from Yogyakarta to be aware of other organizations that had ever been clashed with Rajatikam.

"Their (Gafatar) basic is a 'movement' that has a main network. I believe Gafatar is just part of an organization," he explained.

Therefore, he ordered all levels of politics and public administration to rigorously assess the residents who were reported missing and prevent Gafatar to widespread.
